1. Rules
The Regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009 2012 (RRS) and the rules of the participating classes. The Organizing Authority is Sheridan Shore Yacht Club.

2. Alterations to the Racing Rules
RRS 62.2 and 66 will be changed to shorten the time for requesting redress and the requesting that a hearing be re-opened on the last day of racing.

3. Entry Fee
The entry fee of $50 includes boat and trailer parking, launching, hauling and invitations to social events for skipper and crew. Checks must be made payable to Sheridan Shore Yacht Club.

No Warning Signal will be made after 1400hrs on Sunday, Aug 2.

5. Disclaimer
The Organizing Authority shall require each competitor to sign a waiver for loss, damage or injury to persons or property occurring in conjunction with the regatta or on the property Sheridan Shore Yacht Club and Wilmette Harbor Association. The Organizing Authority, their members, employees, officers and/or agents shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may occur to person or property whether ashore or at sea as a consequence of the participation of any boat.

6. Registration
Registration will take place at Sheridan Shore Yacht Club from 1700hrs to 2000hrs on July 30, 2009 and 830hrs to 1000hrs on July 31. Only boats that have completed registration, paid all entry fees, are entitled to race. .

7. Sail
Each boat shall show the sail number as indicated on the registration form.

8. Sailing Instructions
The Sailing Instructions and the appropriate addendum will be available at Sheridan Shore Yacht Club during registration.

9. Racing Area
SSYC Olympic Circle approximately 1.6 NM, bearing 64° off Wilmette Harbor entrance.

10. Scoring
The individual classes will do the scoring and posting of race results.

11 Berthing and Hauling
Visiting boats will be berthed and hauled at the discretion of the Wilmette Harbor master.

12. Prizes
12.1 Series prizes will be awarded to the skipper and crew finishing first through third .
12.2 Daily prizes will be awarded to the skipper and crew finishing first in each race.
